Dec 20 - 26, 2010 My First Christmas!!

My first Christmas!!  Hi everyone!!  Wow!  What an exciting week it has been for me?!?  There has been so much to see and do.  I don't know where to begin.  Well, actually, I'll start off slow.  At the beginning of the week, I met my Uncle Jonathon for the first time.  He really wanted to see me so he had Uncle Eric drive him up to see me.  It was so fun!  Uncle Jonathon lives far away in Seattle.  I don't know where that is, but daddy said it's cold up there and people can't drive.  Uncle Eric even played with me a little.  I had so much fun.

A couple weeks ago I had my first road trip up to San Francisco.  Well, I had my second trip this week.  I think mommy and daddy think I behaved pretty well.  I have to agree.  I think I did, too.

On Christmas Eve, mommy and daddy took me to the Clifford Christmas Eve party.  It was at Great Uncle Jerry and Auntie Ingrid's house.  There were so many people and almost everyone's last name was Clifford.  I was so confused and I barely remember all the people I met.  I do know that the first person to hold me that night was Auntie Colleen.  That was the first time I met her.  She's so pretty!!

I also sat in Santa Claus' lap and he gave me a present.  He was so jolly.  Mommy says that means "happy."  Then why don't we just say happy?

The next day was Christmas.  Daddy told me that this is the day that baby Jesus was born.  It was also my Auntie Nathalie's birthday.  She has the same birthday as baby Jesus.  So, we went over to Auntie Sabrina and Uncle Ryan's house and opened presents. 

I also spent more time with cousin Elliot.  He's so much bigger than me and he can stand, too.  I want to stand up, but mommy says I don't need to rush into that.

After we were done, mommy and daddy took me over to Pops and Grandma Liz's house to open more gifts.  They also had a party and so many people were there again.  I met my Auntie Vicky, who was playing with my feet.

Look!!  Shea is standing, too!  Mommy, I want to stand.

I don't know why my daddy is smiling when his princess doesn't look too comfortable.

I wore my hat that Great Auntie Pam made me.  I think I look pretty good in it with Uncle Tim.

I was so tired after two nights with so many people.  But, the next day, daddy brought me to meet some other uncles and aunties.  It was much quieter.  I met Auntie Angela and Justin.

I also met Auntie Jen and my big Uncle Greg.  

Uncle Greg is so big and cuddly.  But...

I don't think Elliot thinks so.

Anyway, I'm so tired now.

Hello everyone!!

Yes, I am a skating princess.  Well, not really skating yet, but definitely a princess.  Another week has passed and I keep experiencing new things.  A few weeks ago, mommy started doing tummy time with me.  I still don't know why, but mommy says it makes me stronger and it's our play time.  I think I am a little stronger now. 

See how I can hold my head up?  But, I still have some major complaints about tummy time.  

Did you hear me screaming for help?  Anyway, along with tummy time, mommy lets me lay on my back to play with the toys.  I think I'm just beginning to reach this toy, but I can't always get my hand to do what I want it to.

Just recently, I found my fingers and they taste very good.  Sometimes, I'm very happy with just my thumb.

 It can be very obvious that I like my thumb, but I still try to put all my fingers in my mouth.

Ooh ooh, here's another new trick I learned this week.

Well, not really.  Daddy helped me out, but I look like a pro.

Daddy and I are just chilling.  Ho hum.

I love cuddling with my mommy.

Before bedtime, mommy or daddy reads me a story.  

Can we stop with the pictures already?  I just want to listen to the story.

Dec 6 - 12, 2010

I'm three months old!!!  Look at how much I have grown!!  To celebrate my 3 months, mommy and daddy took me on my first road trip.  Yup!!  We went up to see all my other relatives!!  My cousin, Elliot, was baptized and Grandma Liz and Pops gave me a party to meet everyone.  There are a lot of pictures, so I better get started.

I love my Auntie Katie!!  She makes me laugh so hard!!

Mommy tells me that this picture shows all four generations!!  This is the first time I met my Great Grandma!!

After my party, I went home to my yea yea and ma ma, and I met Auntie Carole.  She was so happy to meet me.

Ma ma and yea yea wanted pictures with me before Elliot's baptism.  So, I did my best to pose with them.

Here's my handsome cousin, Elliot at his baptism.  

My Uncle Ryan really loves me.  I think he's ready for a daughter.

You would think my cousin is playing with me, but he's really interested in my daddy's watch.

Wow!!  What a busy week?!?!  Thank goodness my mommy was here to keep me calm!!

Nov 29 - Dec 5, 2010

Hi everyone!  It's been a very quiet week for us.  After the big Thanksgiving weekend, daddy got sick so he spent a lot of time at home.  I was very happy to see him, but I missed his kisses because he wouldn't kiss me when he was sick.  I didn't get any kisses from him until the weekend.  But, he made up for it.  Also, I realized that I like singing with daddy.  Daddy usually drives me around, but this time, mommy drove so daddy sat in the back with me and started singing to me.  I was so happy, I started to sing with him.  Mommy said it was a beautiful duet.  But, we didn't take any pictures or record the singing, so next time, we'll have to do that for everyone to hear.

Earlier in the week, mommy wanted to take me for a walk.  It was cold outside, so mommy put me in a jacket that Great Auntie Leona bought me.  It's nice and pink!  What do you think?!

I think it's a little too big for me.

I love talking to my mommy!  

Everyday, I get to play on my play mat in my room.  Most of the time, I just stare into the mirror.

Hello, good looking!!

But, I'm beginning to have more control of my muscles, so mommy wants me to exercise them.

Well, that's it, but mommy tells me that we are going to see my cousins this weekend.  I can't wait!
