Nov 22 - 28, 2010 Happy Thanksgiving!!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!!  What a busy and fun week.  I finally found out what Thanksgiving is all about.  Lots of people came and spent time with me.  It was so much fun.

Before Thanksgiving, Great Auntie Leona and Uncle Paul wanted to take me out to dinner since they couldn't come to my Red Egg and Ginger party.  It was so much fun to see them.

Great Auntie Lin, Uncle Eric and Uncle Calvin were also there.

Uncle Calvin told me a secret, but I can't tell anyone who wasn't there.  I don't want to get him in any trouble, but I love him a lot, too.

The next day, daddy cooked up my first turkey.  It looked really good, but mommy said I don't have teeth so I can't eat it.  I don't know what teeth are, but I wish I did have them.  The turkey looked and smelled so good.

Auntie Naomi and Auntie Nathalie, my sai goo je, were also there.  Auntie Nathalie helped mommy out this week when daddy was at work.  She also took care of me a lot.  See how much she loves me?

Auntie Colleen and Uncle Eric also came by for the turkey.  Then, all the aunties went shopping.  I think they all had a great time.

Like I blogged last week, I've been talking to mommy and daddy a lot.  It's so much fun to express all my ideas and feelings on things.  I love talking to mommy.  I'm so happy when I do that.

Mommy recorded me talking to daddy.   They understand everything I have to say.  I have no idea what daddy is saying, though.

On Saturday, daddy took mommy and I to the LA Auto Show.  It was our first car show for mommy and me!!  I think I'm ahead of the curve going to a car show so early.

Mommy and daddy looked at a minivan.

But, I think I found the car for me and mommy - a BMW Z4!!

Wow!  What a busy week!!  I'll see you next time.

Bye.

Nov 15 - 21, 2010

Hi everyone!  This week was a little busy.  I didn't see many people until the end of the week, but mommy decided to create a schedule for me to follow.  I don't even know what a schedule is, but ok mommy, I'll play along.

So, as part of my schedule, I get to lie on the floor and play with one of my toys.  But, the funnest thing on the toy is this shiny thing I look at.  It's just so shiny and at the same time, I think what I'm seeing is very pretty and cute.  I can't put my little finger on it, but I kept trying to talk to it.  I don't know, but either way, I think it's really beautiful.

I'm also more aware of mommy and daddy now.  A lot of times, daddy says I stand on his legs all by myself.  I think that's good.  I really have no idea.  What is standing?

Mommy and daddy also try letting me sit up by myself.

I don't think that worked out very well.

So, at the end of the week, daddy said mommy needed to get out of the house and we met up with my uncles and aunties for lunch.  My sai goo je came down from San Francisco to spend some time with me.

Great Uncle Richard was also there.

And, so was Auntie Colleen.

But, there was a special guest.  I had not met her before.

It was my Auntie Naomi!!  Mommy and daddy says that Auntie Naomi goes to school far away from here, but she's here visiting for turkey day.  Mommy says I will find out about turkey day really soon.

Well, that's it for now.

Bye!!

Nov 8 - 14, 2010

I'm 2 months old!!  Look at how big I'm getting!  This week was a little quiet.  First off, Uncle Mike stayed for a couple days after my Red Egg and Ginger party.  It was so nice of him to stay behind and take care of me.  I think mommy appreciated the extra help.

Also, this week, daddy got to stay home one day because of Veteran's Day.  Daddy said that day is to honor all those who served in the military, past and present.  I don't know what that is, but daddy said that's his job.  He protects me and mommy along with all the other military people.  Wow.  I like daddy protecting me.  I feel safest in his arms.  But, I was so caught up last week with my special occasion, I forgot to put daddy's special occasion on my blog last week.  Sorry, daddy.

 Daddy was promoted last week.

I really didn't know what was going on, but I was just happy to be there.  Actually, I think I was just looking at the lights.

Finally, on Friday night, I went to my first hockey game.  Mommy and I bought tickets for daddy's birthday.  It was fun.  Well, I think it was.  I slept the entire time.  Mommy and daddy couldn't believe I slept because it was loud.  Oh well, when I'm tired, I'm tired.

Well, that's it for this week.

Mommy, you're so pretty!

Nov 1 - 7, 2010

What a busy week!?!  There's so much to tell everyone.  I went to the doctor's office to get my shots.  I was NOT very happy about that.  Mommy was sad when she saw me crying.  Before getting my shots, the nurse told mommy to comfort me and daddy to comfort mommy.  Daddy said he didn't know who cried more - me or mommy.  I don't know and I didn't care.  It just really hurt!!  On the good side of things, I'm growing fast.  I am now 9 lbs 13 oz and 22 3/4" long.  Yeah for me!!  I don't have any pictures from my doctor's visit, but when I got home, my Great Uncle Allen and Auntie Kaman came to visit.  They came all the way from Hong Kong to see me.  I don't know where that is, but mommy told me it's very far away.

Uncle, what is that thing?  It's scaring me.

Well, after they left, mommy and daddy gave me another bath and daddy decided to style my hair.  I don't know what it looks like, but it feels kind of chilly around my head.

Besides Great Auntie and Uncle, I saw a lot of people this weekend.  My "Ma Ma" and "Yea Yea" threw me a Red Egg and Ginger Party.  There were lots of people there to see me and I don't think I can remember everyone.  But, mommy and daddy said I was a really good girl at the party.  I hope they remember how good I was and not how cranky I was when I got home and the next day.  I can't help it.  I was tired from the party.

First, my "ma ma" and "yea yea" took a picture of me and my cousin, Elliot.  Hi cousin!!  You're so big.  I can't wait until we can play.

Then, I took a picture with Grandma Liz, Pop, Uncle Tim, Auntie April, Uncle Dan, Auntie Katie, and Uncle Mike.  I was so happy everyone was there.  I miss my cousin, Shea, though.  Maybe next time I'll see her.

My Great Uncle Bob and Auntie Linda visited also.  It was so nice to meet them for the first time.

Also, I met my Great Uncle Jeffrey and Auntie Annie.  I'm so happy to finally meet you.

Miss Peyton, Miss Aria, and Auntie Laura also came and carried me.  They're all so beautiful.

I think I took pictures with almost everyone.

Auntie Katie is kissing my hand!!

It's my sai goo je and dai goo je!  They say I'm their favorite niece!!

Wow!  What a night?!  I was so tired!  Thank you all again for visiting me.

The next day was daddy's birthday.  Mommy asked him what he wanted to do.

Daddy said, "Nothing.  This is all I need."  I love my daddy.  Happy birthday!!
