June 20 - 26, 2011

Hi everyone!  Sorry, I'm late.  I'm a little sick and we had some visitors so we were a little busy.  The week started out pretty quiet.  Daddy was working, but he had time over the weekend to go to the park with me and mommy.  He tried to put me on the slide, but I wasn't too thrilled about that.

 

The real fun was seeing Uncle Greg, Auntie Jen and Jackie.  Mommy and daddy said the last time I saw them was over Christmas.  Hmmm, I don't remember.  It was too long ago and my memory only goes so far.  But, it didn't matter.  I was having so much fun with Jackie and Auntie Jen. 

We met them for dinner at Universal City Walk.  I let Jackie feed me.  We both enjoyed that quite a bit.  

Then, Auntie Jen would whisk me away so mommy and daddy could eat.  I like Auntie Jen.  She was so much fun.  

I even let Uncle Greg carry me.  Well, sort of.  I still give him a hard time.  It's ok, I still love you Uncle Greg.

Uncle Greg, Auntie Jen, and Jackie stayed with us and we played some more.  I even got a chance to play with my doggies.  I'm trying to pet Lucky.

Hey, I got your tail so don't go anywhere!!

Well, that's it for now.  I'm tired and need some sleep so I can get better.  I'll see you next week.

Happy Father's Day!! June 12-19, 2011

Hello again!  Hehehe, look what I can do now.  Daddy has had to lower my bed twice this week already.  Mommy took this picture of me because every time she came in to get me after my naps, this is what I was doing.  But, Daddy was the one really encouraging me to stand up.

So, I had a SUPER busy week.  I started my first swimming lessons.  Yay for me!  I was a little nervous at first, but now I'm having so much fun.  Here I am with Daddy on my first day.

This is my pretty teacher, Miss Morgan.  She thinks I'm "so cute."  That's what she always says to me.  I like her a lot. 

 This was one of my first lessons.  It's called "Humpty Dumpty."

As a surprise for Fathers Day, Mommy and I took Daddy to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.

We saw all kinds of animals there.  There were these little green birdies.  Mommy called them Lorikeets.  They came right up to us, like we were friends.

We even saw one sitting on the rail.  Mommy was a little nervous about getting too close.  She said that one time a bird bit her finger, so birds scare her now.

After the Lorikeets, we took a ride and saw lots of animals that live in a place called Africa.  I don't know where that is, but Mommy and Daddy say it's very far away.

During the ride, I got to touch some lion fur, rhino skin, and a horn.

After the zoo, we had dinner with our Uncle Ray, Auntie Laura, Aria, Peyton, and Kai.  I took a picture with Uncle Rod, Uncle Ray's brother.  Well at least that's what Mommy said.  He looks just like Uncle Ray.

Well, I'm off to do more climbing!

9 Months Old!! June 6 - 11, 2011

Hi everyone!!  I'm 9 months old!!  Yay for me!!  Don't I look so much bigger in this picture?  But, just to show you that daddy didn't just pull me up like this, here's a video of me slowly pulling myself up.  With some of daddy's help, of course.

I also learned how to sit myself up in bed this week.  Mommy came in one day and saw me sitting up.  It kind of scared her, so daddy lowered the bed.  I'm trying to stand up in my bed.  No luck yet, but I can do it on the couch.  With a little help, and some encouragement from Grandma, I managed to stand as long as I'm leaning on something.  Obviously, I'm not too steady.  But, daddy was there to catch me, so I wasn't afraid.

 

So, if you didn't figure it out, Pops and Grandma Liz came and visited.  Grandma Liz brought me some sourdough rolls, which I absolutely love.  I can't stop eating it.

Pops also came and played with me on my mat.  We had a great time.  

We went out to lunch with daddy, and he gave me my favorite food in the world - a pickle!!  I love pickles.

 

Hmmm, why are all these pictures of me eating?  I guess I'm doing that a lot right now.  Oh well, I need to grow up big!!

May 31 - June 5, 2011

Hello everyone.  I had a pretty quiet week and then some fun on the weekend.

This weekend was my friend Jordyn's 1st birthday.  She's a BIG girl now.  Yay for Jordyn!  This is me and Mommy and Jordyn and her mommy, Miss Michelle.  Miss Michelle is our neighbor.

Jordyn and I spent some time bonding at her party.  I guess her brother Josh wanted to bond with us as well.

The next night Mommy and Daddy took me to dinner to say good bye to Uncle Brian and Auntie Mary.  They are moving to Boston, because Auntie Mary is going to medical school there.  I don't know what that is, but Mommy and Daddy say that she is going to work hard, learn a lot and help a lot of people.  Good for you Aunt Mary. 

Uncle Eric, Auntie Colleen, and Uncle Calvin were all there also at the dinner.  Mommy said it was Korean BBQ, but all daddy fed me was some potato salad.  

After dinner when we got home, daddy gave me a massage.  I don't really know what that is, but it felt so good that I just sat there and relaxed.  Mommy thought it was so funny she took pictures...
