How you doing?

Hi everyone!  What a fun week this week?!?  Mommy took me out on some fun outings.  But first, mommy made me do tummy time.

HELP?

After tummy time, I went to the park with mommy and met some new friends.

There were a lot of other babies there, but I don't remember any of their names.  Maybe this week, I'll do better.  We'll just have to wait and see.  Then, mommy took me to see daddy at work and we went to lunch together.

Well, I'm having lunch.  Daddy is just going to have to wait until I'm done before he can eat.  I also went to a singing class with mommy.

This is our singing teacher, Miss Allison.  I don't remember the songs, but mommy does.  As long as I hear music, I'm a happy camper.

I think I'm very ticklish, especially around my belly.  I just laugh and laugh.

On Sunday, I went to see my Great Uncle Richard and Auntie Susanna.  These are pictures from their camera.  I think I'm trying to say something, but I don't remember what.

Oh, wait.  I remember.  Great Auntie was trying to give me a char siu bow (bbq pork bun).

"I want my char siu bow!!  Yummy yummy yummy."

Mommy wouldn't let me have the char siu bow, so instead, I took the red envelope from Great Auntie and Uncle Eric and Auntie Colleen.  Daddy said it's for Chinese New Year and it has money inside.  I don't know what money is, but I like the color red.

After lunch, mommy and daddy took me shopping and when we finally got a chance to rest, I decided to stretch out.  Ahhhhhhhhhh.

I feel so much better.

See you next week.

Jan 17 - 23, 2010

Hello everyone!  How do you like my hair?  Daddy likes it, but mommy always wants to brush it down.  I don't mind.  It seems that everyone else thinks it's cute.  Well, I think everyone actually thinks I'm cute and the hair just adds to my cuteness.

Well, a very quiet week.  Mommy made me do more tummy time, but at least she's helping me out by putting a blanket underneath me so I can look up easier.  I still don't like it.

I think I mentioned last week that I started finding my feet, but you can see here that I obviously found them.  I like grabbing them.

On Sunday, I went to church with mommy and daddy.  After that, we didn't do too much except wait for Uncle Eric and Auntie Colleen to come visit.  Look at how happy I am.

Auntie Colleen let me try her glasses on.  Mommy says I look like a movie star.  I don't know what that is.  Why is it so dark?

Well, it's time for bed.  I want to wish my cousin Elliot a Happy Birthday.  He's going to be 1.  Ok, good night.

Jan 10 - 16, 2011

Hi everyone!  Another week has gone by and I'm getting bigger by the minute.  This week, I finally felt more at home and really got back into my routine.  Also, I think I found my feet.  Here I am grabbing my foot.

I don't know why mommy likes to style my hair like this.

C'mon, mommy!!  It's embarrassing.

I think I'll take a nap.

No, wait.  I'm awake!!

It got warmer near the end of the week, so mommy and daddy took me somewhere special.  I don't know how to pronounce it, but daddy took a picture of the sign.

I also got to see my Uncle Ray and Auntie Laura, as well as Aria, Peyton, and Kai.

I made sure to take a picture with Uncle Ray because I've seen him twice, but have no pictures to prove it.  Here you go, Uncle Ray.  You made it into my blog!!

I was held by everyone and I enjoyed all of it.  I had so much fun.  See you all next week.

Jan 3 - 9, 2011

I'm 4 months old today!!!  Yeah, me!!  Hi everyone.  It's been a relatively quiet week.  I did get to do a couple of interesting things.  For one thing, I was able to talk to my grandparents on this big flat thing that has lights.  Mommy and daddy call it a computer, but whatever.  It was just so cool to see everyone on it and say hi.  I even met my Uncle Monty, Auntie Erina, and Giovanni.  So, that was fun.

It was kind of cold down here, so mommy made sure I was bundled up.  She even bought me a new hat and gloves to keep me warm.  It matches the jacket that Auntie Nathalie bought me.  Don't I look cute?

Oh, as you can see in the picture, mommy also started me sitting in the Bumbo.  Now, I sit there on the table and watch mommy and daddy eat.  I wish I can eat what they're having.  It looks so good.

So, I learned to do quite a few things this week.  Actually, I started doing them during Christmas, but I'm really enjoying them now.  If you remember from a few weeks back, I started swatting at the toys that hang over my play mat.  Now, I can actually reach out and grab them.  I can even lift up my legs while I do that.  Pretty nifty, huh?

I also have a lot of fun when mommy and daddy change me.  I especially like it when they kiss my tummy or make funny noises.

This weekend was pretty special.  Daddy took mommy and I shopping.  While mommy was in the changing room, I decided to have a conversation with myself and anyone that would listen.  What I have to say is really important so you better listen up.

After the shopping trip was over, we all came home and daddy took care of me.  Here I am just hanging out with daddy as we watched the Ducks beat up on the Sharks!  GO DUCKS!!

The Ducks won and this is what I think of those San Jose Sharks!

Well, before I go to bed, mommy is going to read me a book.  She does this every night.  It makes me relax and fall asleep.  Until next week...

Dec 27 - Jan 2, 2011

Happy New Year!!  This week, I finished my trip in San Francisco.  What a busy and fun trip it has been!  After all the gatherings for Christmas and such, I needed a quieter week so we could all rest up.  We were still at ma ma and yea yea's house, but they were still in Hong Kong.  I will get to see them later.

So, we started the week off with mommy and daddy going to see a movie and Grandma Liz and Pops babysat me.  I'm not sure who cried more - me or mommy.  Next time, I want to go see a movie, too.  I don't know what that is, but it sounds like fun.  Well, daddy told me he had fun, but mommy didn't because she missed me so much.

I also had my first trip into San Francisco.  It was cold and windy, but mommy bundled me up pretty well.  Auntie Katie was sick earlier in the week, but she felt better so I got to see her and spend some time with her.  She's so pretty!!  Her hat almost looks like mine.

We also visited Pops at his work and he took me out to lunch.  We went to Sam's Grill.  They have really good food, but I didn't get to try any.  Actually, daddy gave me a little ice cream.  It was cold, but I think it tasted good.  I don't remember.

The one thing I do remember is my "winkle."  It's my favorite toy that Auntie Katie and Uncle Dan gave me.  As you can see, I'm pretty focused on it.

I also found something interesting in my mouth.  Mommy and daddy call it my tongue.  Apparently, this is how I taste.  I think I like the way my winkle tastes.

After lunch, I met a very old friend of daddy's.  I met Miss Marissa.  She is so nice and pretty, and was really happy to meet me and mommy.

Daddy coached her in basketball when they were all younger.  Hopefully, daddy will coach me in basketball when I get older.

Well, the day finally came when my ma ma and yea yea came back from Hong Kong.  So, we surprised them at the airport.  I don't think they knew we were all coming to pick them up.  They were so happy.  Auntie Nathalie, sai goo je, did such a great job taking all these pictures.

The next day, we just rested at home with ma ma and yea yea.  Dai goo je is napping with me.

Ma ma put her jewelry on my toes because they wouldn't fit on my fingers.  They're so shiny and pretty.  I think I want some.

Well, that's it.  I'm finally back home.  I took a bath, and mommy thought it was a good idea to style my hair.  I don't think I like this style.

Bye!!
