July 25 - 31, 2011

"I don't want to wear daddy's hat."

Hi everyone.  I had such a great weekend!  I didn't do much during the week, because I had to recover after the incredibly busy week from before.  But, on Saturday, I went to Auntie Becky and Uncle Albert's house.  We met up with Auntie Maureen.  I call her Auntie Mo because it's easier for me.  It was her birthday so I took a picture with her and Emma, Audrey, Andrew, and Eric.

After that, we went to Uncle Eric and Auntie Colleen's house.  They babysat me for the first time so daddy could take mommy out on a date.  So, I hung out and was being a good little girl for them.  I mostly played with paper and I loved the mirror.

I was being a very good girl for them.  I did pretend to be asleep so when they came in and checked, I let out a huge cry so they had to feed me again.  I wanted to keep them on their toes.  After I finally did sleep, I woke up the next day and Uncle Eric let me play on his computer.  He's so nice!!  Mommy and daddy won't let me play on their computers.

I also played with a guitar and watched Mickey Mouse on the computer.  It was so much fun.

We spent the whole day there and eventually had dinner.  I really like Auntie Colleen!

I had a pretty big dinner and it was getting late, so I relaxed and kicked up my foot on Auntie's arm.  Ahhh, so relaxing.

Well, I better go.  Uncle Eric is exhausted after babysitting me.  See you next week.

Bye!!

July 11 - 24, 2011

Hi everyone!!  Wow, it's been a busy two weeks.  Well, actually, it was really busy last week, and that's why I didn't post earlier.  Sorry, if you've been waiting to read my blog.  But, wait no longer.  Let's get started.

Daddy took a week off so we could see some family before going to mommy's cousin, Peter and Kara's Wedding.  But, we first went to visit Uncle Tim, Auntie April and my cousin Shea.  They were busy moving into their new house.  I met Grandpa Bob, Shea's other grandpa at their house.  He helped me with my bottle.

Also, Uncle Dan and Auntie Katie were helping with the move.  I love playing with Auntie Katie.  She always makes me laugh!!

Later that night, my cousin Elliot came over and we played with his toys.  He's so good at sharing and also so much taller than me!!

Then, I played some piano with my daddy.

During this visit, mommy finally let me eat a cha siu bao (BBQ Pork Bun).  It was so yummy.  Great Auntie Susanna has been trying to get me to eat one 7 months ago.  Well, better late than never.

I also had dinner with everyone and of course, I gave my cousin Elliot a kiss and then played some more piano.

"Ma ma, what are you doing down there?"

There were so many people to see and meet.  We had dinner with Great Grandma Mench.  I like her pearls!!

 "Mommy, I want pearls!!!"

I also met Auntie Ingrid and my mommy's cousin, Kevin.  They were both so happy to meet me.  Hopefully, I made a good impression.

Later in the week, I finally visited the Russian River.  It was so warm up there.  This was where mommy spent her summers when she was growing up.  Daddy and I had never been up here.  I spent some time in the river with mommy, and eventually daddy and Pops joined us.

I also met mommy's Aunt Patty and her cousin, Marcus.  We were there to see Marcus' brother, Peter get married.

Uncle Tim and Auntie Katie came up later with cousin Shea.  Here we are having breakfast.

Shea shared her toys with me and of course, I gave her a kiss.

There are no bathtubs at the river house, so I took a bath in the kitchen sink.  It was just fine because Grandma Liz gave me these little goldfishies to munch on.

We went to Peter and Kara's rehearsal dinner, which was in the backyard of Aunt Patty and Uncle Jon.  I met mommy's Aunt Rosie and Sheila, and my cousin Connor.

I also met Caitlin for the first time.  She's so nice!!

I played with my Auntie April, Shea's mommy.  I haven't seen her since Christmas, so she says I've grown up a lot.

And, of course, I hung out with Great Grandma.  She loves me a lot!!

At the wedding, I met mommy's cousin, Joey.  He's really funny!!  I can't wait to meet Lisa and my cousin, Jack.

I met cousin Jon for the first time.  His Auntie Sheila was carrying him.  He's so small and cute!!

And, I finally took a picture with mommy's cousin Peter and his new bride, Kara.  They look so happy.

Unfortunately, we had to go home.  But, I did help daddy drive back home so he wouldn't be so tired.  I think I'm doing a pretty good job.

Whew!  So busy, but so fun.  I'll see you next week!!

Bye!!

Happy 4th of July and 10-Months Old!! July 4 - 10, 2011

Happy Independence Day!!  Mommy and daddy say that's what July 4th is.  I'm not sure if I understand any of this, but I have this great shirt mommy got me.  So, if I can dress up like this, then every day should be July 4th.  "Hear me roar!!  Rrrrr!!"

So, it was a pretty busy week for me.  Mommy took me to the park and we sat underneath a tree so I can play on the mat.  I pretty much just relaxed.

Hmmm, mommy's purse, I wonder if there's any money in here.  Let me check.

As I showed last week, I learned how to crawl.  With that, I have new adventures.  One adventure is crawling up to Lucky and Lexie to take pictures with them, or, in most cases, to just pull their tails.  Lucky lets me do that, but not Lexie.

Lucky is very patient with me.

I JUST LOVE YOU SOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!

Well, that's it, but before I forget, I turned 10-months old this week!  Yeah, for me.  Mommy wanted to take this picture of me in my crib because I'm holding myself up.  Everybody says I'll be walking soon.  Hmmm, we'll just have to wait and see.  Maybe on next week's blog.

Bye!!
