Oct 25 -31, 2010

Happy Halloween!!  Mommy and daddy told me to say that, but I don't know what that means.  This week, we didn't do much at all.  Things are starting to get routine for us, so that's good.  No visitors this week, but I did do a couple new things.

First, mommy had me wear this new outfit.  I'm not sure what I think about it.  I don't think I have much of a choice when it comes to what I wear.

Talk about a lack of choice, after a bath, daddy decided to dry my hair with this noisy thing.  Whatever that thing was, daddy styled my so it will stand up.  Mommy and daddy think it's funny.  Again, I'm not sure what I think about it.

Finally, mommy and daddy put me into a horsey costume.  What's a horsey?

Again, I'm not sure what I think about it.

Seriously, mommy and daddy.  Stop with the pictures.

Thank you.

Bye!

Oct 18 - 24, 2010

Hi everyone!  I know mommy and daddy had pictures of me taking a bath and really not liking any of it.  But, I think I'm getting the hang of it ... actually, mommy and daddy are getting the hang of it.

So, I'm actually quite content when they bathe me, as long as they keep me warm.

This was a tough week for mommy and daddy.  This was our first week home alone with daddy working.  I think it took some time for mommy and daddy to adjust.  I obviously helped them out with their adjusting.

Mommy and daddy said I'm growing out of my clothes, so I had to go shopping.  Before I left to go shopping, daddy dressed me up.

What do you think?  Mommy said that it's obvious that daddy dressed me.  Well, of course he dressed me.  I match, don't I?

Mommy and daddy's friends came over for a quick visit.  Mr. Rob and Miss Andrea came to see me.  I also met a new friend, Kaylee.

Kaylee was a little concerned when she saw her mommy holding me.

But, for the most part, Kaylee was having fun playing with Lucky.

We also went to the pumpkin patch.  I don't know what a pumpkin is, but mommy says I'm hers.

Uncle Eric and Auntie Colleen came along also.

Sorry I was crying, but I just want to sleep.

Ahhhh, that's better.

Bye!

Oct 11 - 17, 2010

Hello, everyone.  I'm another week older!  Yeah me!!  Mommy thinks I'm growing up too quick, but isn't that what I'm supposed to do?

Grandma Watson came down to visit this week.  She helped mommy out while daddy went back to work.

Pops came down later in the week, but I was sleeping when he came.

He's trying to wake me up, but I think I win.  I won't wake up.

Mommy said Halloween is almost here so she found me this new outfit.  What's a pumpkin?  Oops, a little spit up.  Sorry, mommy.

I also got to see my Great Auntie Leona and Uncle Paul again.  This is my serious look.

But, more importantly, I finally met my Uncle Brian.

I also met Auntie Mary.  She was afraid to hold me at first, but doesn't she look like a natural?!  I don't know why she would be afraid.  I'm easy to take care of...right, mommy?

Mommy says there are not enough pictures of me and mommy on my blog, so here's another one this week.  I think mommy likes taking pictures with me.

More adventures next week!

Bye!!

Oct 5 - 10, 2010

Hi everyone!  I'm 1 month old!!  I'm so excited!  Mommy and daddy can't believe how quickly time has flown by.  I went to the doctor for my monthly check up and I'm now 8 lbs 4 oz and 21.5 inches long.  That's 3 inches longer than when I was born!

After the doctor's appointment, daddy and mommy took me to Riverside to pay our respects to Great Grandma Venzon.  Daddy says she was a very generous and loving person.  I'm sad I never got to meet her.  But, I did meet Uncle Ray and Auntie Laura.

We were in Miss Peyton's room.  Peyton held me and kept me company the entire time while I fed.

Her older sister, Aria, also came and held me.

Mommy and daddy said they were their flower girls.  I don't know what that means, but I can't wait for them to babysit and play with me.  They're so pretty.

Last, but not least, their little brother Kai held me, too.  Kai is mommy and daddy's godson.  He's only 3, but he kept wanting to hold me.  I guess he likes me.

It was so fun to meet them all.  But, the trip threw off my routine so I made mommy and daddy's night very hard.  But, they don't stay mad at me for very long.  They say I'm too cute to be upset at.  I think I will agree with them.

Over the weekend, I finally met my Uncle Tim and Auntie April.  They drove down to visit me.

Uncle Tim, what is all that stuff on your face?

The most exciting thing was meeting my other cousin, Shea.  Look at how big she is.  I'll be that big one day.

Shea, are you brushing my hair?

Finally, "ma ma" and "yea yea" paid a quick visit.  They said I've grown so quickly, too.  I kept my eyes open more this time for them.

Of course, I think they got a little carried away taking so many pictures of me on their phones.  Mommy thought it was funny.

That's it for this week.

Daddy has to go back to work this week, so I don't look too happy.  I'm going to miss him.

Sept 27 - Oct 4, 2010

Hi everyone!!  Sorry I'm a day late with this week's blog.  I was doing a lot of cluster feeding this week so I kept mommy and daddy busy.  Apparently, I'm going through a growth spurt and I need as much milk as possible.  I don't know.  Do I look bigger?

Other than my constant hunger and feedings, it was a quiet week.  We didn't have any visitors, so I was a little sad.  I took another bath and still did not enjoy it.

Daddy wanted to take some pictures of me sitting up.

Daddy was helping me a lot.

Since I was growing, mommy and daddy said I was pretty cranky.  I don't know what that means.  They also tell me that I'm an angel.  I like that word better.  So, I'm an angel.  Anyway, daddy tried a new carrying position for me.

 What do you think?

I think I like it a lot.

Oh, we also had a heat wave earlier in the week, but by the weekend, it cooled off.  So, mommy dressed me up in my first sleeper.

I think it's pretty.

But, I had to change because I spat up some milk on it.  So, I got dressed into another one.  This one has happy faces and little ears on my feet.   Mommy says I look really cute in the sleepers.  I have to agree with mommy.

Well, that's it for now.  Mommy and daddy have been spoiling me by letting me sleep on their bed.  I think I'll keep doing that before they realize I sleep just fine in my own bed.

See you soon!
