Feb 21 - 27, 2011

Hi from Pensacola!!  I am still here in Florida with mommy and daddy.  Daddy is going through a safety school so we'll be out here until March.  This is great for me because I get to see daddy every day instead of missing him for a month.  Mommy loves it out here because she feels like she's on vacation.

As for my time out here, it's pretty routine so I don't have too many pictures.  I am sleeping without a swaddle now in the middle of the other bed in the room.  I don't roll around yet, so mommy and daddy feel pretty safe about me sleeping there.  I guess I should feel safe also.  I am building up my muscles so I can prop myself up during tummy time.  See how good I look?

I also met a new friend, Mia.  Mia is Ms. Nicole's baby.  Ms. Nicole and mommy were friends from a long time ago.

And I'm learning to play peak-a-boo with daddy.  Well, I don't know how to pull the towel away from me, but I know how to lift my head up to look over the towel.

This week, mommy took me exploring.  We went to the lighthouse on base, but they wouldn't let us go to the top because I'm too small.  So, while daddy worked on homework, mommy took me to the zoo.  It was a lot of fun seeing all the animals.

Feb 7 - 20, 2011 Five Months Old and Pensacola Trip

Hi everyone!!  Sorry for missing a week.  It was pretty busy and daddy told me the internet was really slow so the pictures took too long to upload.  Uh, I didn't understand anything daddy just said.  To make up for last week, I thought I combine the last two weeks.  So, get ready for a lot of pictures!!

First off, I turned 5 months old!!  Pretty exciting stuff!!  Mommy thinks I'm growing up too fast, but I have to keep telling her that I'm growing up just fine.  I'm happy and healthy so mommy and daddy are both very happy and thankful.  I'm thankful, too.

So, later in the week, we made another road trip up to San Francisco.  I saw my grandparents and had lunch with my dai goo je, sai goo je and Uncle Ryan.  I also saw my cousin Elliot.  He's still so big.  He's walking a little bit.

After lunch, I went to Pops and Grandma Liz and had a belated birthday dinner with Uncle Mike.  I played with Uncle Tim, Auntie April, and cousin Shea.
 

Cousin Shea and I helped Uncle Mike blow out his birthday cake.  Actually, Shea helped.  I don't know how to blow out candles.

The next morning, we got up really early and I had my first plane ride.  I was really tired, but still manage to wake up for some parts of the flight.  It was really fun!!

We flew out to Pensacola because daddy has class for a while out there.  He didn't want to miss me the entire time so he flew mommy and me out there.  I didn't want to miss him that long either.  So, this week, mommy and I just got used to the new surroundings while daddy went to class.  I get to see daddy at lunch and when he comes home from class.

Also, I really found my feet this week.  I can grab them and put them in my mouth.  My toes taste good!!

We did a lot of stuff this week, but mommy didn't take all the pictures.  We did manage to go to Waffle House, though I didn't eat anything there.  I can't wait for some real food.  Ok, that's it for the week.  I'll see you soon!!

Gung Hay Fat Choy!! Happy Chinese New Year!! Jan 31 - Feb 6, 2011

Gung Hay Fat Choy and Happy Chinese New Year!!  Mommy and daddy tells me that this is the year of the Rabbit.  I'm not sure what that means, but daddy explained that I was born in the year of the Tiger.  Uh, I still don't know what that means.  But, mommy made me this shirt to celebrate my first Chinese New Year.  Don't I look pretty in it?

There was a lot to do this week.  I had more singing classes and obviously, more tummy time.  I think I'm getting used to it.  But, I definitely feel more comfortable when I do tummy time on top of a rolled up blanket. 

To keep me entertained on car rides, mommy and daddy gave me this new toy over Christmas.  But, now we're using it.  I'm having a lot of fun with it.  I get really focused on it.

This weekend was busy.  I watched my first Super Bowl.  Well, not really.  Daddy and mommy took turns putting me to sleep.  Also, I got my first ride in daddy's car.  I fell asleep right away in it.  It was so fun.  But, the biggest fun was my uncles and aunties visiting me.  First, Uncle Brian and Auntie Mary came. 

Then, Uncle Calvin came and fed me.  I think I made it easy for him.

Finally, Uncle Eric and Auntie Colleen came.

 

Oops, I think I tooted.  Sorry Uncle Eric.  Don't I smell like roses?

Wow!!  What a busy weekend?!  I was so tired by the end of it.  I can't wait until next week.
