I'M ONE YEAR OLD!!!! Sep 5 - 11, 2011

Hi everyone!!  I am ONE YEAR OLD!!!  Pretty exciting, huh?  Mommy and daddy say I'm a big girl now.  Well, of course.  I'm supposed to grow up big, right?  To celebrate, mommy and daddy bought me some new toys.

First, they got me a car!  I love sitting in it.

I even figured out how to get out of my car.  Pretty smart, huh?

I also got my first golf set.  I'm not really sure what I should do with it.  Do I juggle these white things?

Nope, I guess I should just eat them.

"Daddy, is this my putter?"

Great Auntie Pam gave me this hat for my birthday.  It's supposed to be a cake with a candle on it.  But, it's warm right now, so I don't like wearing hats.  Somehow, daddy still managed to get a picture of me in it.

Mommy also made me my first birthday cake.  I don't know how to blow out the candle, but I can grab at the frosting.  Mmmm, tastes good.

We also went to Disneyland.  That was so much fun.  I got to meet Mickey and Minnie again, though I was a little scared.

I also got a Minnie Mouse balloon and went on It's A Small World.  I stood up during the entire ride to see everything.

Then, mommy and daddy took me to this ride where we sat in cups and it just kept going in a circle.  I had a fun time, though mommy was yelling at daddy for turning the cups.  I don't know what the big deal was.  I had fun!!

I even like being upside down!!

Last time, I rode the horsey with mommy.  This time, daddy got his chance to ride it with me.

Daddy's friends from college joined us at Disneyland.  Ms Cheryl, Mr Greg and Tristan were so much fun!!  I really like Ms Cheryl.

Before I left, mommy and daddy gave me Mickey Mouse.  I love Mickey!!  Here's a kiss to prove it.

Wow, what a night.  I was so tired.  The next day was a very important day.  Mommy and daddy took me to a memorial ceremony for 9/11.  It is a very special day to remember.  There were a lot of people with motorcycles to help celebrate that day.  Mommy and I sat on Mr. Kenefick's motorcycle.  It was really big.

Mr. Kenefick is daddy's boss.  Daddy calls him "OPSO," but I have no idea what that means.

I also got to hang out with daddy while he worked and he showed me some of the exhibits.  It was really fun.

And, at the end, I met a really beautiful lady.  Her name is Cindy Crawford and she used to be a professional model.  A lot of people tell me that I can be a model.  Whatever.  I just wanted her to hold me.  She was really nice and very pretty.

Finally, Auntie Colleen and Uncle Eric came and visited.  They gave me a birthday gift and pushed me around in my car, so that was a blast.

"Auntie, I want to go over there!"

Wow, pretty busy, huh?  Well, it's been a busy, busy year.  I learned many things and met many people.  Hopefully, I'll continue to see everyone and have as much fun.  I'll see you later.

Bye!!

Aug 29 - Sep 4, 2011

Hi everyone!!  WOW!!  What an exciting week?!  First, Miss Megan stayed until Tuesday, so I played with her for a couple more days before she had to leave.  Then, we drove up to Gilroy on Thursday night for my Auntie Erin's wedding.  That is where all the fun began!!

Pops and Grandma Liz came and visited me.  Pops got me a little toy puppy from France.  I simply love it!!  I don't know where France is, but apparently, they make really cool toy puppies.

Mommy and daddy let me crawl around the hotel lobby so I can see out the windows.

Wait a minute.  What is that I see?

It's Grandma Liz!!!  What is she doing out there?

When Grandma came back inside, I showed her how I can stand on my own and clap my hands.  I'm pretty talented, huh?

"Pops, what are you doing down here?  I didn't know you were as short as me."

After playing in the lobby, I took a short nap and then had lunch with Grandma.  I had my favorites.  First, a bottle of the very finest vintage formula.

Then, my favorite vegetable in the whole world...a pickle!!

We also went to pick up my second cousin, Emily.  She was so much fun.  We played at the window again with my puppy.  She also taught me how to read the newspaper and play peek-a-boo with Grandma.

I had so much fun that day, that I had such a hard time going to sleep.  I had to chill with mommy before I could fall asleep.

The next day was Auntie Erin's wedding.  I got to see so many people again.  It was only a few weeks ago when I last saw everyone at Peter and Kara's wedding.  But, everyone liked seeing me and I had a blast with them.

I'm trying to play with cousin John, but I don't think he's ready yet.

I always like playing with Great Grandma!!  We were bumping our heads together.

I really enjoyed all the dancing!!  Auntie Colleen took me dancing and we had so much fun.

When she had to leave, I was really sad.  But, I think mommy makes a good substitute.  What do you think?

Finally, a picture with Auntie Erin.  Isn't she pretty?

After the wedding, we drove back home.  It was a long drive and I was really tired.  When I got up the next day, we went to visit Great Auntie Leona and Uncle Paul.

They gave me a great big teddy bear.  I was a little scared at first, but then I warmed up to it.

They also let me wear a necklace with different jade pieces on it.  Mommy says it's jewelry, but it doesn't sparkle like other jewelry.  It DOES taste good, though.  Especially, the big piece!!

Well, that's it.  "I'm tired, daddy.  Take me home please."

Bye!!
